"Hello, I'm Dr. Prantik Maity, a dedicated and passionate ophthalmologist with a specialization in retinal care. After completing my MBBS from 2006 to 2011, I pursued a year of internship and housestaffship in the Department of Ophthalmology, followed by MS in Ophthalmology from 2014 to 2017. My professional journey includes a year of government service from 2019 to 2021, a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, and a year of consultancy in Chaitanyapur, Haldia. Now, driven by my passion for delivering exceptional retinal care, I'm venturing to establish my own Retina Institute, where I can provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with retinal disorders."

1. Completed 1(one) year compulsory internship at NRS Medical College, Kolkata (23.03.2011-22.03.2012).
2. RMO at Bell Vue Clinic, Kolkata, during Apr’2013 – Jun’2014.
3. RMO at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, during Mar’2014 – May’2014.
4. Visiting surgeon at B.Poddar Lion’s Eye Hospital, 9, Monoharpukur Rd, Hazra, Kolkata since July’2017.
5. Medical Officer in Dept of Ophthalmology at District Super Speciality Hospital, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman, WB under One year service bond (From 16.08.2017 to 15.08.2018).

(b) A Presentation entitled “Unusual swept source OCT findings of a punched out macular lesion. Is it a COLOBOMA or TOXOPLASMA SCAR?” was made at ‘Pediatric Retina Summit’ held on 12th-13th July, 2019, at Taj Coromandel, Chennai.
